The Time Came!

Okay, so, I have happy news! Maybe you don't care but I care so much! Guess what? YKW change place! So now, YKW's not in my group! The only people in my group are Chloe, Pooja, Linden and myself,duh. AND YKW is sitting so far away some more! She ask us to tell her any funny stuff that happen. Well, I am jolly well NOT telling her! Why should I? She's not even part of this group anymore, anything that happens within this group is strictly private and confidential. She can have fun with her new group members, right?!

Stupid Belt

Today the school uniform belt thingy came out. So I had to hold it. Then I wanted to go to the bookshop to buy the safety pins, but thennn, when I went down to canteen for lunch, the bookshop was C-L-O-S-E-D. CLOSED. So irritating. So I had to hold it for a few minutes when I realised that the bookshop opened, it closed cuz the person was on lunch break i think. Yeah so It reopened. So I was able to buy my safety pins. First, I did not know how to use the safety pins. But actually ar, the safety pins quite cheap leh! I think about 12 pins for only 20 cents! Ok anyway, I didn't know how to use the safety pins. So Esther helped me do it. So it was quite ok already. Then I showed Chloe. Chloe said that there was another way so I wanted to do the other way because I know what hte other way look like but i don't know how to do. So, the other way worked better, because, its like you put the hook through the pin, pretending that the pin is actually the thing that you hook the hook into. So yah, that shows that, a) Scotch tape does not work. (which is what I tried to do but failed) b) safety pins are cheap and c) I should bring safety pins to school every day.

Today's lucky font to be reviewed is...........COURIER! Or commonly called..Courier New.

So, if you didn't know, which is most likely NOT, Courier New is this font that I am currently using to type now. I dislike and like this font, pretty weird, eh? Okay, maybe not weird at all. Maybe some people might like this font and dislike it as well. Do you want to know why I like and dislike this font? I like it because, it's like those type of computery fonts, you know, the ones that people use to type computer-generated letters that look SO computery that you just can't say it's not a computery font. And if you're writing a formal letter, then you can use this font as well. If it's a formal computer generated letter, of course. And, it's also very flat. And it's quite fancy as well, even though it's a computery font. It's fancy because when we want to write a person's name on a card or something, we always put lines on the bottom of the A to make it look defining. So this font is something like what we do, except that when you use this font it's saving your energy on writing all the li'l lines. But why do I dislike this font? Because, I'm now using Courier New in BOLD. Not nobold. WITH BOLD. Because, with no bold, it's really not nice. In bold it looks a teeny bit nicer, but, no bold? Like this! Do you think the font Trebuchet is nice? Fonts deceive you sometimes you knowww. I just got deceived by a font, which is this font which I am typing with now, Trebuchet. When you go and view your posts from the Edit Posts there it comes out as the font Trebuchet(Windows Vista) or some other font(Windows XP). I use both XP and Vista. But I use Vista more. So I remember better. Anyway, I was viewing my previous posts(because I always find my previous posts interesting). Then when you view it from the Edit Posts it's in the font Trebuchet. So I was reading the posts that were in Trebuchet font. So I was thinking : Wah, Trebuchet so nice! I always thought it was damn ugly.

But I THOUGHT it was ugly because it turns out that some fonts are smart. And when you type things out using that font, it seems ugly, but when you VIEW that font, it seems nice. RIGHT?! But I don't think that's the reason now, leh. Because the Edit Posts one, the Trebuchet was bold. At first I was typing this post in normal, no bold/italic. Then I went to see the Edit Posts thing again, because it seemed so different when I type it out and when I view it. Then I realised that it was nice because the Edit Posts one is BOLD, which makes it look sort of ROUNDER, and not SHARP like no bold liddat. So now, I officially conclude, that TREBUCHET LOOKS NICER WITH BOLD. Ok you might not agree, but this is my opinion of it. Trebuchet no bold also nice la, but if you do small small no bold not nice. Ok whatever. Done talking about fonts. Maybe I shall give 'reviews' on more fonts. Later.
